Robert J. Bourgon & Associates Ltd. have been in the construction business in the Cornwall area for over 50 years. From their beginnings as a residential builder completing approximately 50 new homes per year, they have grown to become one of the largest and most diversified construction and development firms in the area, specializing in both general contracting and project management of commercial, institutional, industrial, health care and multi-residential projects.
Over the years, Robert J. Bourgon & Associates have established and maintained an excellent track record with local authorities, trades people, suppliers, consultants and clients that continues to serve us well in maintaining tight schedules and keeping projects on budget.
Projects of note over the past five years include construction of the new Central Public School, renovation of the Seaway Plaza to accomodate Value Village, additions and renovations to the Children's Aid Society and Medical Arts Centre buildings, the new Ecole Secondaire Le Relais, a new pool enclosure at Comfort Inn, the gymnasium addition and renovations at St. Finnan's Elementary School, new industrial building for Cornwall Gravel, a new reservoir membrane for the City, a new dialysis unit and isolation rooms for the Hotel Dieu and Cornwall General hospitals, the new Viscount Alexander School, the new Benson Truck and Trailer building in Brockville, the interior fit-up of the Chenier Building to accomodate the Canadian Mental Health offices, the new 12 Flags Food Court and Super 8 Motel development, and commmercial/industrial renovations and additions at the SCM distribution centre, Nestle Canada, and Benson Spring and Muffler.
